Top Gun Image’s Primary Photographer is Doug Day.
Doug Day’s interest in aviation began at an early age. His career in aviation coveralls all spectrums of aeronautics; from being a licensed A&P, to flying as a flight engineer in the air guard, to being a pilot in the Air Force. Mr. Day’s education includes holding degrees in aeronautical maintenance and one in aero operations from San Jose State University.
Doug Day has maintained an ongoing photographic history during his aviation life. Most recently he has formed TOP GUN Images to bring some of his most unique work to the public. All of his photos are limited edition originals that are personally autographed, numbered, and categorized. His approach is to capture the most interesting and rarest compositions of the beauty of flight.

His subjects range from the famed Thunderbirds and Blue Angels, to the powerful warbirds cutting around the pylons at Reno. Certain subjects depict the current high-tech achievements made in aviation, while others the nostalgic overtones of early flight.
Mr. Day currently travels to various events in search of that “one” shot that is unique enough to be included into the TOP GUN Image collection.
